A recognized leader in the areas of publishing and public relations, with over 24 years of experience in development and management arenas, Bill Bowers serves as president and founder of Spectrum Unlimited, Inc. Bowers is responsible for all facets of the company’s operations, including strategic planning, new business development, finance, and administration. For the past 20 years, Bowers has managed and operated his own publishing and printing firm, Spectrum Unlimited, Inc. Which publishes the Journal for Minority Medical Students, the Keepsake, a guide for minority science students, and the Young Scientist, a career guide for underrepresented science graduates. Spectrum Publishers, Inc. a non-profit branch of Spectrum, is primarily engaged in producing periodicals, brochures, posters, and other printed matter for wide distribution. As one of the medical community’s most highly respected publishers, Bowers has built Spectrum into a nationally recognized leader in the area of minority medical student journalism. Prior to Spectrum, Bowers had Twenty-three years of commissioned experience in the military sector with assignments concentrated in the areas of Public Relations, Inspector General, and Command Leadership positions. Upon retirement, Bowers served as Executive Vice President and, subsequently, President of The Black Collegian magazine. Bowers has a B.S. in Biology & Zoology from the University of Wisconsin, an M.Ed. from University of Texas in Educational Psychology, and completed postgraduate work in Social Work at Southern University of New Orleans. Bowers was formerly the President of The Orleans Parish School, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chairman of The United Black Fund, board member of The Audubon Institute of New Orleans, board member of The National Conference of Christians and Jews, and board member of The Odyssey House.
Tamika brings more than 16 years of progressive team and project management experience. Having managed annual budgets in excess of $25 million across CPG, B2B, finance, technology/software, consulting and communication companies, prior employers include: GMAC, EarthLink, DS Waters, Capital Access Network, ePartners and ASI Software Developers. Tamika’s experience also includes serving as a key team leader in a multi-year Oracle implementation, converting over seven legacy system across 10 company divisions. She has an ability to quickly grasp a situation, strategize a solution and follow through with proper execution. She has proven to be an effective team leader in environments of growth and change.
Robin brings over 20 years software development experience to Spectrum Unlimited. She has extensive experience developing enterprise level web and windows applications. The focus of her career is on building well architected applications on the Microsoft development platform using .NET and SQL Server. Her professional business experience has included creating applications for e-commerce, human resources, accounting, pharmacy and newspaper distribution businesses.
Naresh leads project development, serving as Software Architect. He adds to the team with his more than 12 years experience in 
designing, building, maintenance of Web or Client based applications on 
Microsoft ASP.Net platform using MSSQL Server and Oracle databases. Naresh has also worked on Business Intelligence products - Business Objects and 
Microsoft SSIS, SSRS.
Amita brings to the team over 15 years of progressive administrative experience providing consistent, approachable service and full range of general office support. Her three years of Project Management experience, combined with her B.S. in Computer science, allows her to be an invaluable contributor to the team and our clients.
Lorry Rome has over 10 years of project management experience with the government, non-profit and private sectors. She has led multi-million dollar initiatives throughout the United States totaling up to $35M. She has also facilitated and managed various stakeholder requirements gathering sessions, training demonstrations and various conferences for both HHS and CDC. She serves as the contracts manager and project management consultant at Spectrum Healthcare Diversity & Informatics.
